IF YOU DON'T LIKE TO STRESS after a long flight at the sometimes a bit confusing Colombo airport better to ask for a personal pick-up and a 20-min-drive. We will send you one of our freelance drivers; he will welcome you in the public arrival hall, holding the blue Icebear board, even at night. Price is US$ 30, no matter whether passenger car or van.

(Of course transport from the hotel to the airport is available too, for US$ 20)

FOR A TAILOR-MADE ISLAND JOURNEY, we’ll call one or two of our 7 English speaking freelance drivers to discuss tour and price directly, this is early enough after arrival. The Icebear Beach Guesthouse is not a tour operator, but in service for you.

We can even connect you to Helicopter flights, Surfing hot-spots, hot Air balooning in the Cultural Triangle, and Negombo boat tours anyway, even sitting on a Catamaran!

Colombo city day tours

IT IS JUST 50 MINUTES from Negombo bus stand to Colombo by using the new high-way express bus, having a spectacular view to the Negombo lagoon (larger as expected). Or 60 minutes with an express private bus to the Pettah. Or 90 minutes by train. The capital is in a permanent beautification process and arises to one of Asia’s most pleasant metropolis.
